This Easy Tomato and Avocado Salsa is just the type of simple, low-maintenance food I like right now. It’s made with a few simple ingredients and takes no time to make. Oh, and it tastes absolutely amazing.
The flavors of the cherry tomatoes mixed with silky avocado, fresh herbs, lemon juice and a little hint of sharpness from the red onions are too good to resist.

I already posted this easy tomato avocado salsa recipe as a foot note to my spicy Asian Carrot Cakes, but I felt it’s so good that it needed it’s own post.

The flavors in this simple summer salsa are everything summer is about. Quick to make, barely 5-ingredients and oh so tasty. It’s the ideal side dish for any main course.
There’s nothing brilliant or even very original about this salsa, but it’s so incredibly good. And since it’s one of my favorites to make all year long I decided I needed to share it with the world.
It also works great as a simple, healthy and quick lunch as it barely takes 5 minutes to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 Avocado Diced
  • 10-15 Cherry Tomatoes Diced
  • 1 Red Onion Diced
  • Juice from ½ Lemon
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • 1 bunch Fresh Basil Chopped

Instructions

  • Add all the rinsed and diced veggies to a bowl and season with lemon juice, salt, pepper and fresh basil. Mix gently together and chill until ready to serve.Enjoy.
