Quick 15 minutes Pizza Dough

First up is my Quick 15 minute pizza dough recipe inspired by Jamie Oliver. It's pretty much an exact replica of the original Jamie Oliver recipe, except I like to also add a teaspoon of dried oregano to really get that pizza aroma to come through. If you want, you can just leave out the dried oregano and get a more classic pizza dough. Both options taste amazing.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
  • ½ cup Water
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano optional
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400F.
  • Get out your trusty food processor and pour in all the water, olive oil, salt, oregano and only half of the flour. Pulse the food processor until everything is mixed and pour in the rest of the flour.
  • Pulse again until the mixture forms a dough - it should be elastic enough to work with, but not too sticky.
  • Next, cover a clean surface with a little extra flour and roll out the dough into a typical pizza shape. Drizzle a little olive oil into a cast iron skillet and place the pizza in it. Cook the pizza at high heat for around 3-4 minutes, making sure the dough doesn't get blackened.
  • Top the pizza with all the toppings you want and bake the pizza under the broiler, letting it bake for 4-5 minutes, or until the pizza toppings are done. Serve hot and enjoy.

Alternative Cooking Method
