How to freeze juice:

1. Prepare the Juice: Juice your fruits and vegetables using a juicer according to your recipe.
2. Allow Settling: Let the freshly extracted juice sit for a few minutes to allow any foam to settle.
3. Choose Containers: Pour the juice into suitable freezer-safe containers. You can use glass jars, plastic bottles, ice cube trays, or silicone molds.
4. Leave Space: Leave some space at the top of the container to allow for expansion during freezing. For ice cube trays, fill each compartment about two-thirds full.
5. Seal Tightly: Seal the containers tightly with their lids or covers to prevent freezer burn and maintain the quality of the juice.
6. Label and Date: Label each container with the date of freezing and the type of juice. This helps you keep track of what's inside and when it was made.
7. Freeze: Place the containers in the freezer. If you're using ice cube trays or silicone molds, you can first freeze the juice in these smaller portions and then transfer the frozen cubes to a larger container or resealable bag for long-term storage.
8. Thawing and Using: When you're ready to enjoy the frozen juice, transfer the container from the freezer to the refrigerator. Allow it to thaw slowly. Give the juice a gentle shake or stir after thawing, as some separation may occur during freezing.
9. Use Within a Reasonable Time: While frozen juice can retain its nutritional value, it's best to consume it within 2 to 3 months for optimal taste and quality.
10. Shake and Enjoy: After thawing, give the juice a good shake or stir before drinking to ensure that any separation is mixed back in.
By freezing juice from your juicer, you can create convenient portions that are ready to enjoy whenever you need a refreshing and nutritious drink. It's a great way to have your homemade juice available even when you don't have time to juice fresh produce every day.
