Mix together flour and salt in a large mixing bowl.
In another mixing bowl, mix together water and yeast. Add 6 tabespoons of the flour and mix that in until everything is combined. Leave the pre dough to relax for 10 minutes.
Make a small indentation in the flour and begin to slowly pour in the water, stirring it in a little at a time. At this stage, you should also pour in the olive oil and mix in.
Mix in the rest of the flour and stir until the dough is just about holding together. Pour the dough onto a clean, lightly flour dusted countertop and knead the dough for a good 5 minutes. If the dough needs it, you can add a little more flour. It should be elastic, but not so sticky that it clings to everything.
Next, roll the dough into a ball and place it back in the mixing bowl. Cut a large x on top and cover the dough with a clean towel. Let it rise until it reaches double size, which should be around 1 hour.
Roll the pizza dough into a pizza shape on a lightly flour dusted countertop and top with everything you want.
Cook in a preheated oven at 450F for 5-10 minutes or until the dough is cooked and the crust is slightly crispy.
Serve hot and enjoy.
