  • 12 oz (355ml) strong coffee or two shots espresso
  • 4 tablespoons (50g) brown sugar or powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (14g) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1.3g) cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon (1g) ground nutmeg
  • 1/3 teaspoon (0.5g) cayenne pepper
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) heavy cream, half & half, or homemade coffee creamer - vegan: use vegan heavy cream

  • In a small bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.
  • Pour the coffee into a large mug and stir in the dry mixture until smooth. Add cream to your preference.

Aztec Mocha Coffee Mix (Large Batch)

  • 1 cup (200 grams) brown sugar or powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup (56 grams) unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons (5.2 grams) cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons (4 grams) nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon (2 grams) cayenne pepper
  • Use 3 tablespoons (about 45 grams) of the coffee mix per cup.
How to make a large batch Mexican coffee Instructions:
•In a small bowl, combine all the dry ingredients.
•Pour the coffee into a large mug and stir in the dry mixture until smooth. Add cream to your preference.
If you prepare a batch, how many servings does it make?
A large batch of the recipe yields enough mix for 8 servings. Each serving requires mixing 3 tablespoons of the mixture with 6 ounces of coffee and 1-3 tablespoons of cream, resulting in approximately 1 cup per serving.
