  • 1/2 cup (80g) black bean paste (chunjang)
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups (480ml) vegetable broth
  • 2 teaspoons (10g) cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoons water (cornstarch slurry)

For the Noodles:

  • 14 Oz (400g) Korean wheat noodles or any other vegan noodles of your choice

  • Sliced cucumber optional
