Ingredients

  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 loaf Rye Bread or other dark bread
  • ½ tsp Sea salt
  • 1 tsp Dried Oregano

Instructions

  • Line two baking sheets with baking paper.
  • Cut the bread into thin slices (almost as thin as you can get them while they still hold their shape).
    Place the rye bread slices on the lined baking sheets and spray it brush them with olive oil. Season with salt and oregano.
  • Bake the rye bread chips for 10-15 minutes at 400F (190 degrees Celsius) or until the chips are golden and crispy (without being burned).
    Remove the chips from the oven and gently transfer to a rack to cool. As the chips cool they will become completely crispy.

Notes

Store the chips in dry airtight jars for up to 4 days at a cool room temperature.
