¼cupAll Purpose Flour Brown Rice Flour for gluten free
1½tspOnion Powder
2cupsVegetable Broth
3tbspNutritional Yeast
2clovesGarlicMinced
1tspMustard
1tbspBrown Sugar
1tbspApple Cider Vinegar
1tspDried Rosemary
2tbspSoy Sauce
1 tbspOlive Oil
Instructions
In a small saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
Add the flour to the saucepan and whisk continuously for 1-2 minutes, until the mixture turns golden brown and develops a nutty aroma.
Slowly pour in the vegetable broth while whisking constantly to avoid lumps.
Add the soy sauce, nutritional yeast (if using), onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, and dried rosemary. Stir well to combine.
Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the gravy thickens to your desired consistency.Season with salt and pepper to taste. Adjust the seasoning as needed.Remove from heat and let the gravy cool slightly before serving.
