These vegan buns are so unbelievably good and super easy to make. Packed with crunchy seeds and soft and chewy on the inside. Perfect for breakfast and lunch - and freezer friendly.

1½cupDark Beer (or alternatively cold water)
8tspActive Dry Yeast
7/8cupCracked Rye Kernels
1cupSunflower Seeds
1/3cupLinseeds
2tbspMaple Syrup
2tbspCacao Powder
1tspSalt
1cupAll Purpose Flour
1cupRye Flour
7/8cupDark ChocolateChopped

Instructions
Heat the oven to 400F
1. Pour the dark beer (or alternatively cold water) into a large mixing bowl and dissolve the dry yeast in it. Add the salt, cacao powder and maple syrup to the mix and stir it all together.
2. Next, stir in the cracked rye kernels, sunflower seeds, linseeds, all purpose flour and rye flour. Once everything is mixed together, stir in the chopped dark chocolate pieces quickly.
3. Cover a baking tray with baking parchment. Use a spoon to divide the dough into 20 buns and put them on a baking tray (make sure that there's at least 2-3 inches between each bun).
4. Decorate the buns with more sunflower seeds and bake them in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until they done.
5. Take the buns out of the oven and leave them on a rack to cool.
These delicious and healthy buns are also freezer friendly.
