How to make almond milk without a machine - homemade dairy-free milk recipe
Making almond milk without a machine is actually quite simple! Here are the steps:
  1. Soak 1 cup of raw almonds in water overnight or for at least 6 hours.
  2. Drain and rinse the soaked almonds.
  3. Add the almonds to a blender with 3-4 cups of water (depending on how creamy you want your milk).
  4. Blend on high for 1-2 minutes, or until the almonds are broken down and the liquid is white and creamy.
  5. Strain the milk through a nut milk bag, cheesecloth, or fine mesh sieve into a bowl or pitcher.
  6. Squeeze or press the almond pulp to extract all the milk.
  7. Transfer the almond milk to a glass jar or bottle and refrigerate for up to 5 days.
That’s it! You can also add sweeteners like honey, agave, or maple syrup if desired. Enjoy your homemade almond milk!
