1tablespoonmaple syrup or honey
Salt and pepper to taste
1tablespoonfresh thyme leaves

4ripe pearssliced in half and cored
2tablespoonsolive oil
1/4cupbrown sugaror coconut sugar
1/2teaspoonground cinnamon
1/4teaspoonground nutmeg
Pinchof salt
Vanilla ice creamor my vegan s’mores ice cream

Instructions
Savory barbecue pears Instructions:
Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, maple syrup, salt, and pepper.
Brush the cut side of each pear half with the olive oil mixture.Place the pear halves on the grill, cut side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes or until they are slightly charred.
Flip the pears over and grill for an additional 2-3 minutes.Remove the pears from the grill and transfer them to a serving platter.
Drizzle any remaining olive oil mixture over the pears and sprinkle them with fresh thyme leaves.Serve immediately and enjoy!
