Jump to Recipe

This amazing delicious tomato strawberry fruit salsa salad is juicy, fresh and looks like a showstopper. Plus, it’s so incredibly tasty and takes no time to prepare.

Tomato strawberry fruit salsa salad is one of my favourite easy summer salads. The colours are eye grabbing and the flavours of the tomatoes combined with the sweetness of the strawberries are everything summer should be in a single bowl. It’s no wonder this fruit salsa salad is a fan favourite.

Made with only a few simple ingredients it packs a lot of flavours into one easy side dish.

One thing I want in summer is fresh and delicious food that tastes of summer and sunshine … and I also want it to be easy and as quick to make as possible, without compromising any flavours. That’s just one of the reasons why I absolutely adore this simple fruit salad. It’s ready in less than 10-minutes (depending on how quick your chopping skills are, it can be made in less than that). And it’s like eating a mouthful of summer in every bite.

What’s great about this Tomato Strawberry Fruit Salsa Salad:

  • Just about everything
  • Delicious, fresh and juicy
  • Easy and quick to make
  • Healthy and loaded with nutrients
  • Vegan
  • Gluten-free
  • Colourful
  • Great for parties, BBQ’s and picnics
  • A fan favourite

What kind of salad topping should I use?

I like to use my favourite gluten-free salad topping recipe, but you can use your favourite. For a very easy and simple salad topping you can just use roasted salted nuts or pumpkin seeds. But if you are looking for a crunchy and tasty salad topping I can definitely recommend my easy gluten-free salad topping (Note: it’s my favourite and I put it on everything).

Do I have to use vegan feta cheese?

No, you can use your preferred vegan cheese topping, or even leave out the cheese altogether. The feta cheese adds a cooling and creamy texture to the salad, but the salad can easily be served without it. Another option is to use crumbled vegan cashew cheese as topping, or even vegan mozzarella.

Another option if you are vegetarian is to use vegetarian feta cheese or mozzarella. There’s so many options and they are all very tasty.

How is this delicious tomato strawberry fruit salsa salad recipe made? It’s very easy. Just:

Instructions

  • Rinse the strawberries and tomatoes and gently tap them dry with a clean paper towel or cloth. Cut the tomatoes into quarters and add them to a large salad bowl.
  • Next, cut the ends off the strawberries and cut them into four equal slices. Add the strawberries to the bowl and drizzle with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Season with salt and pepper and toss until the tomatoes and strawberries are coated in dressing. Top with gluten free nut topping, chopped basil and vegan feta cheese (optional). Serve and enjoy.
