Creamy Broccoli Tortellini
I’m all about delicious comfort food that’s easy to make, especially this time of year when everything seems to be happening all at once. And that’s why I adore this Creamy Broccolli Tortellini recipe. Not only is it incredibly rich and creamy just like the name implies, it’s also super quick to make because it uses store bought tortellinis.
Incorporating ready to cook pastas into my busy schedule is one of my top life hacks. I love everything about pasta, except the long preparation of making pasta myself. But luckily making pasta from scratch isn’t necessary in this day and age. The great assortment of fresh pastas from the supermarkets are good enough to rival most homemade pastas anyway.

What tortellinis to choose
This recipe works with pretty much any tortellinis you want. I like to use a mix of cheese filled tortellinis and spinach and cheese tortellinis because I enjoy the variety. But you can use any tortellinis you like so just choose your favorites and start cooking.
How is this Creamy Broccoli Tortellini recipe made:
- Boil the tortellinis as instructed on the package.
- While the tortellini cooks, rinse the broccoli and break or cut it into small chunks. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet and cook the broccoli until it starts to get golden at the edges.
- Add the minced garlic and season with salt and pepper. Next, add the chopped sundried tomatoes and stir everything together.
- Pour in the heavy cream and add the chopped rosemary. Let the sauce cook to a simmer before adding in the parmesan cheese.
- Stir until the cheese is melted.
- Next, add the cooked and drained tortellinis to the sauce and carefully stir everything together until the tortellini is completely covered with sauce.
- Serve hot and enjoy.

- ½ Head of Broccoli
- 3 cloves Garlic Minced
- 7 oz Sundried Tomatoes Chopped
- 1¼ cup Heavy Cream
- ⅓ cup Grated Parmesan
- 1 tbsp Fresh Rosemary Chopped
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
